Job summary

Airahome is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You will help build and scale a data platform used by multiple teams to power products, decisions, and day-to-day operations.

The role blends hands-on engineering with architectural influence to create scalable data solutions. You will work across pipelines, data serving, governance and observability, partnering with domain teams to enable self-service analytics and data products.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in data engineering and production-scale systems.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams and domains.
• Comfortable with architecture discussions and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve and maintain Airahome's data platform.
• Develop and operate batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Collaborate with domain teams to evolve data serving pipelines.
• Support Data Mesh adoption and data asset ownership across teams.
• Enable analytics engineers and domain experts to build data products and self-service analytics.
• Improve reliability, governance and platform observability.
