Job summary

IKEA Malmö is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and operate scalable data pipelines across the value chain. You will enable data-driven decisions by delivering reliable data foundations and clear data products in a collaborative, agile environment.

You will work with Python, PySpark and SQL on cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure and AWS, helping to modernise our data landscape and empower colleagues with fast, accurate insights.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, with Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks) and data products.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh or Data Lakehouse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines and supporting functions like metadata, data quality, lineage, monitoring.
• Promote engineering practices and improve developer experience within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sustainability and Data & Analytics functions.
• Contribute to the health and evolution of the data platform.
