Job summary

Infinity Quest Limited seeks aSenior Technical Business Analyst to define and document data lineage across Teradata and Snowflake, bridging business meaning with technical implementation so lineage from source to consumption can be traced.

You will translate business definitions into precise technical specifications, work with the Metadata Collection engineer to fill gaps, and validate lineage with owners and engineers as systems evolve.

Qualifications

Senior-level technical business analysis experience in data or information management.
Understanding of Teradata and data warehouse principles.
Working knowledge of Snowflake and its database design principles.
Ability to read SQL and data models and to produce source-to-target mappings.
Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Define and document data lineage across Teradata and Snowflake from source to reports and downstream consumers.
Gather and clarify lineage requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
Translate business definitions into precise technical specifications and mappings.
Collaborate with Metadata Collection engineer to use metadata as lineage input and identify gaps.
Validate lineage with data owners and engineers, keeping documentation current as systems change.
Support prioritisation of lineage scope by business criticality.
