Job summary

Rasulson Consulting is seeking a Data Business Analyst to support the development and scaling of an analytics solution. You will translate business rules into data requirements, map data sources, and assess data availability, quality and reliability across product, installed-base and commercial data.

You will coordinate data corrections with Business, Product Management, MDM and Analytics/BI.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience translating business needs into data requirements.
• Hands-on data profiling and analysis with SQL and Excel/Power Query.
• Experience with master data, product data and data quality in PIM/MDM environments.
• Understanding of data governance, including ownership, definitions and quality rules.
• Strong stakeholder management across Business and IT.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Data Business Analyst to support the development and scaling of an analytics solution combining product, installed-base and commercial data.

You will translate business rules and use cases into data requirements, map data attributes and sources, and assess data availability, quality, completeness and reliability. You will identify gaps and coordinate data correction and enrichment with Business, Product Management, MDM and Analytics/BI.

The role also includes validating data before BI implementation and supporting sustainable data governance, including ownership, definitions and quality standards. Key deliverables include documented requirements, data mapping, gap assessments and prioritized improvement actions.

Required Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, Data Analyst or similar, translating business needs into data requirements.
• You have hands‑on experience with data profiling and analysis, using tools such as SQL and Excel/Power Query.
• You have experience with master data, product data and data quality in PIM/MDM environments.
• You have a good understanding of data governance, including ownership, definitions, quality rules and stewardship.
• You have strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across Business and IT.
• You have strong documentation skills and are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• You have experience with STEP (Stibo Systems).
• You have experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
• You have experience from Aftermarket or Parts & Accessories, including product compatibility, installed base or spare parts.
• You have experience working with BI/Power BI teams, analytics or recommendation models.
• You are available to start at short notice.
