Job summary

Orbis Consultants is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a leading name in the gaming sector. You will design, develop, and maintain ETLs and data pipelines supporting live ops and analytics.

Responsibilities include optimizing data flows from games to warehouses, reviewing Python and SQL code, and leveraging Snowflake on AWS. A strong background in data engineering and cloud technologies is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef & Ansible
• Experience with Python or Java-based environments and Git
• Experience working with AWS Cloud
• Snowflake Database Management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot ETLs written in Python and SQL
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines and events flowing from games, through webservers, into data warehouses
• Build data-driven tools for LiveOps and User Acquisition services
• Code review and validate SQL and Python supplied by peers
• Participate in managing Snowflake users, data and
• Generate reports and analyze data to isolate and explain data irregularities using SQL
