Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Sweden AB is seeking a Snowflake Developer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake and IDMC. You will migrate data from Teradata to Snowflake, create scalable data models, and ensure data quality.

The role involves collaborating with data architects and business stakeholders, implementing governance and security, and delivering reliable ETL/ELT workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Experience migrating data from Teradata to Snowflake with validation.
• Proficient in SQL and scripting for automation (Python, Shell).
• Knowledge of Snowflake features: Time Travel, micro-partitions, Streams, Tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to migrate data from Teradata to Snowflake.
• Optimize migration processes ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, stages, procedures).
• Implement partitioning, clustering, and performance tuning strategies.
• Develop reusable scripts for automation of migration tasks (Python, Shell).
• Document migration processes, best practices, and technical solutions.
