Job summary

Avance Consulting is seeking a senior Data Governance professional in Sweden to join our client projects. You will bring 5+ years of experience in information governance, information management, and information architecture, with a track record on information inventories and governance processes.

You will map information volumes, sources and flows within large organizations, identify data ownership and accountability, and work within regulated environments compliant with GDPR and NIS2.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Data Governance or related fields.
• Multiple assignments on information inventory/classification or governance processes.
• Experience mapping information volumes, sources and flows in large organizations.
• Proven ability to identify data ownership and accountability.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and information security in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with NIS2 or equivalent requirements.
• Experience running workshops with operations, IT and information security teams.

Job description

At least 5 years of documented experience in Data Governance, information management or information architecture.

At least 2 completed assignments regarding information inventory, information classification or establishment of data governance processes.

Experience in mapping information volumes, data sources and information flows in larger organizations.

Experience in identifying and documenting data ownership and information accountability

Good knowledge of GDPR.

Good knowledge of information security work and information management in regulatory-controlled operations

Experience working with NIS2 or equivalent information security requirements.

Experience in workshop management with operations, IT and information security functions.
