Job summary

emagine is seeking a Data Engineer to redesign and rebuild the deletions and takeout request workflow on Snowflake. You will work with Python, Airflow, and AWS to implement data handling requirements and build metadata/cataloguing integrations for internal data sources.

The role offers remote work within Sweden with the possibility to visit the office a few times. This is a short-term project starting September/October 2026 and ending December 2026, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on Airflow experience.
• Experience with AWS and data engineering pipelines.
• Snowflake experience preferred; familiarity with data subject request workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and rebuild the deletions and takeout request workflow on Snowflake.
• Implement workflows to meet defined data handling requirements.
• Build metadata/cataloguing integrations for data sources.
• Work independently with minimal ramp-up as the core team is occupied.
