Job summary

ICA Banken is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Cloud Data Platform team. You will shape data products across a modern Google Cloud Platform environment, bridging business, analytics, and data engineering to make data easier to understand and use.

You will work with stakeholders to define data requirements, rules, and KPIs, while contributing to governance, metadata, and data quality across ICA Banken’s data mesh platform.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Data Analyst or analytics-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, DBT, Tableau or Looker.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Cloud Data Platform team and play a key role in building trusted, governed, and reusable data products across our modern Google Cloud Platform environment. This is a senior role positioned at the intersection of business, analytics, and data engineering, where you will help make data easier to understand, discover, and use across the organisation.

About The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, analysts, and data engineers to define, develop, and improve data products that support analytics, decision-making, regulatory requirements, and AI initiatives. You will translate business needs into clear data requirements, define business rules and KPIs, validate data quality, and contribute to analytical modelling and transformation in SQL and DBT. You will also help establish shared metrics, business definitions, metadata, and governance standards while supporting the continued growth of ICA Banken’s modern Data Mesh-based data platform.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe you have several years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role. You have strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, DBT, Tableau, or Looker is highly valued. In addition, you are comfortable translating business requirements into analytical solutions and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. Experience within data governance, semantic layers, data quality, metadata management, or regulated industries such as banking or financial services is considered an advantage.
