Ideal candidates have extensive experience in data engineering, strong technical skills, and a collaborative mindset. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive real business value and an excellent office environment.
SEB is more than just a bank with an IT function. We are a progressive tech company powered by innovation and collaboration, offering an impressive tech stack spanning from Java to AI. Together, we innovate for a sustainable society and build a welcoming tech arena for the future.
Are you a Cloud Data Engineer who wants to create real value through data and innovation? Are you motivated by delivering high‑quality solutions that drive customer value and enjoy exploring new technologies? If you also have experience within financial products such as foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities, and equities, this could be the right opportunity for you. Our data area is evolving, and we are now looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to join our BI and Analytics team within Trading Technology, where data plays a critical role in enabling business success.
As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will work with BI and AI solutions in the Trading area, one of the most dynamic environments in the bank. Your work will support business‑critical decisions and have real impact. You will deliver trusted, high‑quality solutions using modern tools and services built on GCP, and contribute to new AI‑driven initiatives. You will be part of a cross‑functional team, working end‑to‑end with requirements, development, testing, and deployment. Close collaboration with business stakeholders and strong understanding of the Trading domain are key to success. You will also collaborate with other Data Engineers and Business Analysts through coaching, code reviews, and participation in design and architectural decisions.
You will join a BI and Analytics team of ten highly collaborative members, working across the full development lifecycle. The team operates in an agile setup following SAFe, with a strong culture of openness, trust, and knowledge sharing. The team is responsible for two platforms—one in maintenance mode and one under active development, and is currently finalizing the migration from on‑prem to GCP, with strong focus on AI use cases. We actively support professional growth, including GCP certifications, and encourage responsible use of Copilot and LLMs to enhance productivity.
