Job summary

PACE Global is leading a major green steel development in Northern Sweden and seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator / Cost Engineer to own cost estimating across a significant EPC scope. This role collaborates with project controls, planning and risk teams on a complex live construction programme.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in cost estimating with major EPC exposure, Monte Carlo risk analysis, and familiarity with Safran/@RISK.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' cost estimating or cost engineering experience.
• Major-project and EPC expertise.
• Experience with cost risk, contingency and Monte Carlo analysis.
• Familiarity with Safran or similar tools.
• Background in heavy industry sectors such as energy, metals, chemicals or oil and gas.
• Availability to work a rotational pattern on site in Sweden.
• A commercially sharp, self-starting approach.

• Producing and reviewing estimates from concept through to definitive stage.
• Building cost models and validating contractor and vendor pricing.
• Supporting change control, trend analysis and forecasting.
• Connecting cost and schedule risk with contingency through QRA/QSRA.
• Delivering clear, decision-ready reporting to senior stakeholders.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Cost Estimator / Cost Engineer to take ownership of cost estimating across a significant EPC scope. You'll work closely with project controls, planning and risk teams on a complex, live construction programm

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and reviewing estimates from concept through to definitive stage
• Building cost models and validating contractor and vendor pricing
• Supporting change control, trend analysis and forecasting
• Connecting cost and schedule risk with contingency through QRA/QSRA
• Delivering clear, decision-ready reporting to senior stakeholders

Ideal Background

• 10+ years' cost estimating or cost engineering experience
• Strong major-project and EPC expertise
• Practical experience of cost risk, contingency and Monte Carlo analysis
• Familiarity with Safran, @RISK or similar tools
• Background in industrial, process, energy, metals and mining, chemicals, oil and gas, or comparable heavy infrastructure
• Availability to work a rotational pattern on site in Sweden
• A commercially sharp, self-starting approach
