Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Project Construction & Commissioning Manager (PCCM) to own the Construction & Commissioning scope from mobilization to handover on large-scale energy projects. You will collaborate with Project Directors, Site Managers, clients and subcontractors to deliver safe, on-time and on-budget execution while shaping the energy transition.

The role demands proactive leadership, stakeholder management and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience delivering construction/commissioning on large energy projects.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate Construction & Commissioning activities from mobilisation to handover.
Drive transition from Tendering/Engineering into Construction & Commissioning with clear ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
Establish and lead high-performing teams with defined roles and delivery strategies.
Lead kick-off meetings and align project teams and stakeholders.
Champion constructability reviews and ensure effective construction strategies.
Partner with Project Directors, Site Managers and functional teams to maximize performance.
Ensure safety and compliance with contractual, regulatory and HSE requirements.
Monitor progress, budgets and forecasts; implement mitigation as needed.
Lead risk and opportunity management; support commercial discussions and cost control.
Provide reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership; drive continuous improvement.
