Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is seeking a Commissioning Engineer in Västerås, Sweden to support global projects in the green energy transition. Your responsibilities include coordinating commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, and building relationships with customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has experience in commissioning electrical power plants. Travel of up to 80% is expected. Excellent English communication skills are required, and Swedish proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience within services or commissioning of electrical power plants and/or control systems.
• Ability to read and understand protection/electrical drawings.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful execution of testing and commissioning activities.
• Act as key contact for the customer and manage project issues.
• Coordinate site activities focused on customer acceptance Certificate.
