Job summary

LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Tiger Sportsbook Team and help drive growth with scalable, real‑time betting services.

You will design, implement, and operate microservices across UI/Backend, collaborating with product managers, architects, QA, and developers to deliver robust, observable systems. Experience in high‑volume trading platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing microservices, Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Implementing resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation).
• Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively detect issues.
• Hands‑on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end‑to‑end microservices.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership, problem‑solving, and collaborating with other teams.
• Designing and implementing solutions from idea to production.
• Building for scale, availability, performance, and security across the stack.
• Working with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.
• Integrating new products and building internal services to support our ecosystem.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Ensuring services are production‑ready, observable, and maintainable through monitoring, alerting, and on‑call participation.
