Job summary

LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group is seeking a QA Engineer to champion quality across our backend platform. You will design automated and manual test plans, execute tests, and collaborate with developers to ensure robust releases.

A strong emphasis on maintaining tests, debugging issues, and improving processes is expected. Join a fast-paced Retention domain that enhances player journeys with data-driven testing, lots of automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience creating automated tests and 5 years of experience with testing in general.
• Structured approach to quality assurance with well-defined testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java for backend testing.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, MySQL, Postman and DataDog.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage incidents by balancing short-term fixes with long-term resilience improvements.
• Fluent English (B2/C1 min).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to analyse requirements and define comprehensive test strategies for the backend side of the platform.
• Engage in planning and development phases to ensure high-quality releases.
• Design and develop test plans with automated and manual cases for integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Execute test cases, document defects, and report testing progress and results.
• Investigate, debug, and troubleshoot issues, providing technical guidance to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the test case repository.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies.
