Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a senior software engineer to advance Pyroscope within Grafana Cloud. You will lead projects from concept to rollout, design core distributed database components, and collaborate with open-source contributors in a fully remote team.

In Sweden, compensation ranges SEK 775,444 - SEK 930,533, with RSUs and a 30-day annual leave policy. We operate globally remote and value open source roots, high trust culture, and strong product collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to rollout, including design, delivery, and customer follow-up.
• Design, build, and operate core distributed database components (ingestion, storage, query).
• Wear the product hat in absence of a dedicated PM and steer roadmaps.
• Drive operational excellence with concrete SLOs and cost targets; reduce toil via automation.
• Collaborate with Grafana squads to make profiles useful across engineers.
• Participate in on-call and post-incident learning; contribute to open source.
