Job summary

Verisure is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Platform Utilities & Upgrades in Malmö. You will design, build, and operate microservices spanning device lifecycle management, firmware upgrades, SIM management, and internal tooling.

You will own parts of the system, contribute to architecture, and mentor junior developers. Join a ~11-person backend team, collaborate with Product Owner and external EMS partners, and help translate manufacturing and operational requirements into reliable

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience as a backend software developer in microservice/distributed systems.
• Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with containerised deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend microservices spanning device lifecycle management, SIM connectivity, firmware/upgrade orchestration, and internal tooling.
• Mentor less experienced developers and take technical ownership of parts of the system.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and external EMS partners to translate requirements into reliable software.
• Ensure system reliability and maintainability in a 24/7 SLA context where applicable.
