Job summary

Verisure Malmö is seeking a Technical Manager to lead and grow a seven-person software team responsible for alarm and business logic, collaborating with Madrid and Europe-wide test teams.

You will own the team’s deliveries, define priorities, contribute to system architecture, and mentor engineers while driving agile practices and end-to-end quality. This role requires strong leadership and fluent English in an international IoT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record of leading software development teams in agile environments.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for the team’s deliveries, ensuring alignment with business priorities and the product roadmap.
• Define priorities and guide the team to deliver high-quality software aligned with business goals.
• Stay actively engaged in technical discussions, providing architectural vision and system-level design input.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end quality and timely delivery.
• Inspire, coach, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to strategic planning, roadmap definition, and process optimization.
