Job summary

Omda is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join the Gothenburg team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering emergency care solutions, collaborating with frontend teams and domain experts to deliver high-quality software.

Expect a strong focus on API design, microservices, and architecture, with opportunities to mentor juniors and shape technical strategy. Hybrid work model with on-site in Gothenburg and remote days.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in backend development with .NET and C#.
• Good understanding of React.js and how backend services integrate with modern frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, and working in Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs for emergency care applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and domain experts to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
