Job summary

Capgemini AB in Gothenburg is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Solutioner to lead and design software engineering projects in the Automotive sector. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, managing the solution design process, and collaborating with diverse engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in software development and a strong technical background in automotive systems, particularly in embedded software. This role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience across the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Experience in technical leadership, solutioning, or project delivery.
Exposure to pre‑sales, RFQ work, or estimation is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

Leading and contributing to software engineering initiatives across embedded, connected, and cloud‑based automotive systems.
Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical solutioning towards internal and external stakeholders.
Driving end‑to‑end solution design, including architecture, delivery models, and effort estimations.
Supporting and coordinating RFQ/RFP responses, ensuring high‑quality proposals aligned with customer needs.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Global Software/AI CoE’s systems, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.
Engaging with customers to understand their software transformation needs.
