Job summary

Jobtailor in Sweden seeks a senior software engineer to lead and contribute to software initiatives across embedded, connected, and cloud automotive systems. You will act as SPOC for technical solutions and drive end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery.

You will engage with RFQ/RFP responses, support proposal quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, mechanical, and AI COEs to shape digital platforms and SDLC optimizations.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience across the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Strong background in embedded software, connected vehicle/cloud platforms, digital cockpit or HMI, CI/CD tooling, and GenAI within automotive SDLC.
Experience in technical leadership, solutioning, or project delivery.

Responsibilities

Leading and contributing to software engineering initiatives across embedded, connected, and cloud-based automotive systems.
Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical solutioning towards internal and external stakeholders.
Driving end-to-end solution design, including architecture, delivery models, and effort estimations.
Supporting and coordinating RFQ/RFP responses, ensuring high-quality proposals aligned with customer needs.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Global Software/AI COE’s systems, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.
Engaging with customers to understand their software transformation needs (e.g., SDV, connectivity, digital platforms).
Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to long-term partnerships.
