Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer in Lund to join the ARTPEC SoC verification team. You will verify in-house hardware IPs and subsystems pre-silicon using simulation and formal methods, including multi-clock domains and AXI/APB protocols, in an agile environment.

The role emphasizes growth, collaboration, and contributing to cutting-edge chip tech such as ARTPEC-9. The team supports learning, innovation, and strong technical ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience on multiple projects developing sophisticated compute subsystems or SoCs from spec to tape-out.
• Solid understanding of digital hardware and verification strategies including SystemVerilog, UVM, and co-verification with software.

Responsibilities

• Verify ARTPEC/SoC designs pre-silicon using simulation and formal methods.
• Work with multi-clock domain designs, AXI/APB protocols, and reset architectures.
• Collaborate in an agile team to investigate new verification technologies and tools.
• Contribute to papers and present at international conferences when applicable.

To do this, we use simulation as well as formal methods. Verifying complex chip designs requires the use of specialized and advanced techniques.The team is working on a wide variety of modules and subsystems. As we work with agile methods, you will be part of a group that collaborates closely to meet our goals.About youWe are looking for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field . Y ou should have experience from at least a couple of projects developing sophisticated compute subsystems or SoCs , ranging from specification and modelling phase to tape out .Y ou will need:Solid understanding of digital hardware Verilog HDL and Verification strategies including, SystemVerilog , UVM and Hardware/Firmware co-verification.E xperience in complex SoC architecture and development including multi-clock domain designs, AXI/A P B protocols, multi-power domains, and reset architectures.Experience with Python, Tcl, or other scripting language.Experience verifying SoC projects or systems including embedded microprocessors.Bonus points for :End to end formal verification and formal property verificationClock domain crossing verification and connectivity checkingPower aware verificationTransaction Level Modeling (TLM) and SystemCYou enjoy sharing your knowledge and ideas with co-workers . D eveloping and maintaining them require s a good understanding of digital hardware as well as software engineering principles. In particular, we make extensive use of object-oriented frameworks. Debugging and identifying potential problems in the hardware design is also a fundamental part of the job.Our in-house developed hardware often implements functions such as image processing, graphical transfor m s , general AI and computer vision.
