Job summary

Telia is seeking a Senior AI & Data Engineer to join our team in Sweden. You will build data foundations, AI pipelines, and scalable integrations that power our Sales AI agents and personalized customer journeys.

Collaborate with architects, data scientists, product owners and engineers to move AI solutions from idea to production, applying Agile/SAFe methods and delivering reliable data products for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer solving complex data problems and building production-ready AI capabilities.
• Proven experience in data engineering, AI engineering, platform engineering, or software in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines and modern data architecture.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe and cross-functional delivery; Telecom, Sales, CRM or MarTech background is a plus.

• Build data, integration, and AI engineering foundations powering sales AI agents, recommendations and journeys.
• Create scalable data pipelines, APIs, integrations for AI agents, recommendations and personalization use cases.

• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and modern data architecture patterns, and Agentic AI capabilities.
• Ability to build scalable integrations and data products for GenAI, AI agents, RAG, recommendations or personalization use cases.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe, cross‑functional delivery and fluent English. Telecom, Sales, CRM, MarTech or eCommerce background is a plus.
