Job summary

Knowit Connectivity is seeking a senior AI architect to turn applied AI into scalable, production-grade systems while helping clients create tangible business value. You will work across the full lifecycle from strategy and architecture to deployment, with knowledge sharing and capability building at the core.

You will split time between client assignments and the AI Advisory Team, shaping AI strategy, evaluating technologies, and establishing practical ways of working with AI across Knowit.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on experience in applied AI across strategy to implementation.
• Experience building production AI applications with LLMs.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• Strong system architecture and distributed software development background.
• Proficient in Python; cloud experience.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP including monitoring/optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-native architectures and intelligent systems.
• Build and deploy LLM-based applications and RAG solutions in production.
• Create agent-based workflows and autonomous system behaviors.
• Define governance, observability, monitoring, and evaluation strategies.
• Integrate AI into existing products, platforms, and processes.
• Guide clients through technical and organisational decisions involving performance, reliability, cost, and control.
