Job summary

Knowit Sweden is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead design and deployment of production-grade AI systems. You will work across strategy, architecture, and implementation, shaping AI capabilities for clients while collaborating with senior specialists in a dynamic advisory team.

You will design AI-native architectures, build LLM-based applications, and define governance, observability, and integration strategies to deliver scalable, trustworthy solutions across industries.

Qualifications

• Senior-level, hands-on experience in applied AI.
• Experience building production applications with large language models.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• Strong background in system architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable language.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) including monitoring & optimization.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, platform engineering, or data engineering is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-native architectures and intelligent systems.
• Build and deploy LLM-based applications and RAG solutions in production.
• Create agent-based workflows and autonomous system behaviors.
• Define governance, observability, monitoring, and evaluation strategies.
