Job summary

Knowit Connectivity’s AI Advisory Team seeks a senior AI architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, production-grade AI systems. You will work across strategy, architecture and delivery to translate AI insights into reliable, observable solutions for clients.

You will collaborate with senior AI specialists and business leaders to shape AI strategy, evaluate new technologies, and establish practical ways of working with AI across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience building production applications with large language models.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms.
• Strong system architecture and distributed software development.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP including evaluation, monitoring and optimization of AI systems.

Job description

You’re an experienced AI architect who wants to turn applied AI into scalable, production‑grade systems while helping clients create tangible business value.

As a senior consultant, you will work across the full lifecycle of applied AI, from strategy and architecture to implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will help clients understand how AI affects their products, workflows, and technical systems, then turn those insights into solutions that are scalable, observable, and trustworthy.

Your time will be divided between client assignments and Knowit Connectivity’s AI Advisory Team. Together with senior AI specialists, architects, and business leaders, you will shape AI strategy, develop internal capabilities, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish practical ways of working with AI across the organization.

Your work may include:

• Designing AI‑native architectures and intelligent systems
• Building and deploying LLM‑based applications and RAG solutions in production
• Creating agent‑based workflows and autonomous system behaviors
• Defining governance, observability, monitoring, and evaluation strategies
• Integrating AI into existing products, platforms, and business processes
• Guiding clients through technical and organizational decisions involving performance, reliability, cost, and control

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

You bring senior‑level, hands‑on experience in applied AI and can move comfortably between strategic discussions, architecture decisions, and implementation. You also understand the demands of consulting and can help clients navigate both technical and organizational challenges.

We believe your background includes several of the following:

• Building production applications with large language models
• Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, vector databases, and complex information sources
• Agent frameworks and orchestration platforms
• System architecture, distributed systems, and large‑scale software development
• Python or a comparable programming language
• Azure, AWS, or GCP, including evaluation, monitoring, and optimization of AI systems

Experience in enterprise architecture, platform engineering, or data engineering is highly valuable. You stay curious as the AI landscape evolves, apply new technology pragmatically, and recognize that strong AI systems require more than a successful prototype.
