Job summary

Massive Entertainment in Malmö is seeking a Senior VFX Artist to create astonishing real-time effects using the Snowdrop engine. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and contribute to our tech-forward pipeline with a strong focus on quality and performance.

The role requires AAA project experience, deep VFX tool knowledge (Maya) and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team. Office-based, full-time permanent position in a leading Ubisoft studio.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with VFX in at least one AAA game cycle.
• Strong knowledge of VFX tools, including Maya, and engine constraints.
• Portfolio/showreel detailing real-time VFX work.
• Able to work autonomously and improve processes with technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate and prioritize tasks.
• Optimize workflows balancing quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Artists, Designers, Technical Artists and Programmers.
• Establish and share VFX best practices.
• Provide tutorials, documentation and guides of project tools and pipelines.
• Contribute to a culture of open and honest feedback.
• As a Senior you'll mentor, coach and share feedback with peers.
