Job summary

Fortum Sverige AB in Sweden is seeking a Security Manager to strengthen the company’s security capabilities. You will independently manage security areas such as physical and information security, shaping processes and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

You will provide guidance and training within your expertise to raise security awareness and maintain robust security across the organisation.

Qualifications

• University degree in law, technology, security or related field.
• At least two years of experience within one or more security disciplines.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Structured, proactive approach and sound judgment.

Do you want to contribute to protecting critical infrastructure and supporting the secure operation of one of the Nordic region's leading energy companies? We are looking for a Security Manager to join our Security team in Sweden. In this role, you will help ensure that security risks are managed effectively while supporting compliance with important security regulations and requirements.

About the role

As a Security Manager, you will play an important role in strengthening Fortum's security capabilities and ensuring that security-related work is carried out in line with business objectives, internal requirements, and relevant legislation.

You will take independent responsibility for one or more security areas, such as:

• Physical security
• Information security

You will develop, implement and maintain methods, processes and routines within your areas of responsibility. The role requires a structured and proactive approach, as well as the ability to manage complex matters and make sound decisions independently.

You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, support functions and external authorities. In addition, you will provide guidance and training within your areas of expertise to help strengthen security awareness and compliance throughout the organisation.

We offer a hybrid work model to support your productivity; you are expected to be at the office two to three times a week.

The position is based at our office in Solna, Stockholm.

About you

To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of security knowledge, strong judgement and the ability to work independently in a complex environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant university degree in law, technology, security or a related field
• At least two years of experience working within one or more security disciplines
• The ability to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
• A systematic and structured way of working
• High integrity, sound judgement and strong security awareness

Experience working with protective security is considered an advantage, as is experience in business development.
