Job summary

Natural Cycles is seeking a Security & Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain secure tooling, integrations and infrastructure. You will work on AI integrations, incident monitoring, and secure internal tooling, with a focus on NIS2 and medical device security requirements.

Sweden-based role with remote-friendly, Stockholm-aligned teams. You’ll collaborate across infrastructure and security disciplines, shaping risk-based engineering decisions and practical controls for fast-moving product

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with software development, infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Ability to build internal tools, automations, AI integrations, and infrastructure components using modern practices.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants, especially Claude, while maintaining quality and security.
• Basic understanding of identity and access management, logging, monitoring, secrets management, and secure system design.
• Ability to assess technical and business risk, prioritise mitigations, and document decisions clearly.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations while seeking alignment when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations to improve Infrastructure and Security workflows.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for safe internal experimentation with POCs and AI integrations.
• Improve monitoring and detection of employee and AI-agent activity and data exposure risks.
• Protect company resources using a risk-based approach aligned with criticality and regulatory relevance.
• Use AI tools to rapidly develop code, IaC, automations, and security tooling.
• Translate cybersecurity requirements (NIS2, medical device security) into practical engineering work.
• Perform security reviews, threat modelling and risk assessments for internal applications and infrastructure changes.
