Job summary

Einride is hiring a Security Engineer to join our security team in Stockholm or Gothenburg. You will build and operate monitoring across endpoints, cloud, web platforms, and our autonomous vehicle ecosystem, while leading incident response and vulnerability management efforts.

You should have 5+ years in cybersecurity/security engineering, cloud security experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), and strong scripting skills to automate tasks, with Go preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
• Experience securing and monitoring cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Proven vulnerability management across multiple IT layers.
• Experience with security incident management (SOC/CDC).
• Ability to code and automate repetitive tasks (Go preferred).
• Strong collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate and operate security monitoring platforms across endpoints, SaaS, cloud, web platforms, and embedded systems.
• Lead security incident response, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Mature vulnerability management program across devices, networks, containers, and cloud configurations; measure risk-based investments.
• Develop and strengthen application security practices; perform threat modeling and security guidance for features.
• Collaborate with software engineers to patch vulnerabilities, run audits, and clarify IAM concepts.
