Overview

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Management Automation expert with 5+ years of experience configuring all EWM standard processes including inbound, outbound, internal, and exception codes. The role involves integration of SAP EWM with warehouse control systems (WCS) and MES/automation platforms, and continual improvement of automation and advanced EWM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize SAP EWM standard processes: Inbound, Outbound, Internal, and Exception codes.
• Apply advanced concepts (Value-Added Services, Yard Management, Labor Management).
• Integrate EWM with Warehouse Control Systems for automation (Converys, high bay, gantry cranes).
• Integrate EWM with MES systems and develop blueprints for integrations.
• Map SAP EWM and WCS/MES APIs.
• Lead workshops and capture requirements for automation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement on automation and advanced EWM concepts.
• Ensure smooth WCS integration for automated warehouse operations.
• Apply cross-module SAP knowledge to projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• SAP EWM expertise with strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing EWM solutions.
• Custom interface development with experience integrating EWM with third-party software via interfaces.
• Functional and technical documentation skills, including proficiency in writing FSDs and managing project documentation.
• WCS & Automation knowledge, including understanding of Warehouse Control Systems and advanced EWM functionalities.
• Client-facing and communication skills with ability to lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Cross-module SAP knowledge (MM, PP, SD, FI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale SAP EWM implementations within automated warehouse environments.
• Understanding of advanced EWM features such as Labor Management, Slotting, and Yard Management.
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing domains.
