Job summary

Empiric is seeking an experienced Senior SAP EWM Implementation Consultant for a 12-month hybrid role in Västerås. The consultant will support design, implementation and optimisation of SAP EWM within a complex industrial environment, coordinating with IT, operations and partners.

The role requires hands-on SAP EWM expertise, experience delivering end-to-end implementations, and the ability to engage with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP EWM implementation experience.
• End-to-end SAP EWM delivery in complex environments.
• Experience with SAP EWM configuration and warehouse processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM and SAP ECC environments.
• Strong warehouse operations knowledge (inbound, outbound, putaway, picking).
• Experience with fit-gap analysis and requirements workshops.
• Ability to document functional specs and process docs.
• Knowledge of SAP EWM integration with MM, SD, PP, QM.
• Experience with testing, cutover, deployment and stabilisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and hybrid project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EWM implementation activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Facilitate fit-gap workshops with stakeholders to define requirements.
• Design and configure SAP EWM aligned with best practices and global templates.
• Analyse warehouse processes and develop future-state solutions.
• Coordinate integrations with SAP modules and warehouse automation.
• Develop functional specs, test scenarios and documentation.
• Lead testing, SIT, UAT, cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to manage deliverables.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer.
