Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Mako Support Specialist to join a team transforming orthopedic surgery through robotic technology. You will partner with surgeons and OR teams to support robotic-assisted joint replacement procedures from planning through surgery and contribute to training and onboarding.

This 11.5-month maternity leave cover role offers extensive onboarding, hands-on exposure to MAKO systems, and opportunities to impact patient care daily within the Swedish territory.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Swedish and English required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Ability to work within a hospital operating room environment.
• Completion of a 3–6 month English-language certification program.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeons, nurses, and OR teams during robotic-assisted hip, knee, and partial knee replacements within the territory.
• Prepare and review patient-specific pre-operative CT-based plans, including 3D models and implant planning.
• Collaborate with surgeons to finalize surgical plans before procedures.
• Set up, test, and support robotic surgical equipment before and during procedures.
• Deliver clinical and technical training on robotic-assisted technology to healthcare professionals.
• Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues during cases and coordinate resolutions.
• Document cases, maintain inventory, process purchase orders, and support territory operations.
• Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to product development and engineering teams.
