Warner Bros. Discovery in Stockholm leads a focused Rights team delivering high-quality rights, contract administration and operational support across EMEA.

The Rights Manager role combines people leadership with hands-on stakeholder collaboration to enable informed decisions in a dynamic media environment. Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team of administrative, operational or analytical specialists.
  • Strong data management and documentation skills with accuracy.
  • Experience in rights management, content operations or licensing preferred.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken, across regions.
  • Strong understanding of TV/SVOD rights concepts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and handling large data sets.
  • Able to summarize complex information clearly.
  • Curious and confident using AI-enabled tools to collaborate.

Your New Role…

The Rights Manager leads a focused team of Rights Administrators and Analysts in Stockholm, ensuring high-quality rights management in various systems, contract administration and operational support across EMEA for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). The role combines people leadership, process improvement and hands‑on stakeholder partnership to help the business make informed decisions, meet deadlines and maintain strong operational control in a dynamic media and entertainment environment.

As Rights Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery, you will play a key role in developing a capable, collaborative and service‑minded team that supports Acquisitions, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders across EMEA. You will lead day‑to‑day work allocation, coach team members, strengthen ways of working and represent the Rights & Administration function in projects and cross‑functional initiatives. This is an opportunity to combine leadership with operational expertise in content rights, data quality, systems and process transformation within a leading global media and entertainment company.

Your Role Accountabilities…
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Rights Administrators and Analysts, creating clarity, engagement and accountability.
  • Plan and balance workload across the team to ensure deadlines, service levels and team targets are met.
  • Oversee rights management, contract administration, data quality and budget‑related administration for relevant EMEA territories and workflows.
  • Partner with Acquisitions, Legal, Finance, Planning and Scheduling, and other stakeholders to provide accurate rights information, reports, overviews and presentations.
  • Represent the team in change projects, working groups and process improvement initiatives, ensuring operational needs are understood and addressed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflows, documentation, systems usage and stakeholder communication.
  • Support the effective use of company tools, including AI‑enabled tools such as Copilot, where they improve quality, efficiency or collaboration.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience leading, coordinating or mentoring a team of administrative, operational or analytical specialists.
  • Strong administrative background with a proven ability to manage complex data, documentation, deadlines and stakeholder requests with accuracy and structure.
  • Experience from rights management, content operations, media administration, licensing, finance operations or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across countries and functions.
  • Good understanding of TV, SVOD, content rights or licensing concepts, or the ability to quickly build knowledge in this area.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets, reports and structured information.
  • Ability to summarize complex information in a clear and audience‑friendly way.
  • Curiosity and confidence in using digital and AI‑enabled tools, including Copilot, to improve collaboration, efficiency and quality.
