Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery in a global streaming environment seeks a Rights Analyst – Data Management to ensure accuracy, integrity and governance of rights data across EMEA.

You will translate contractual terms into structured system data and enable compliant content availability on HBO Max and HBO Europe, interfacing with Content, Legal and Operations. This fixed-term 12-month role requires advanced Excel, experience with rights management systems, and ability to interpret contractual

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own accurate entry, validation, and maintenance of rights data in the system.
  • Translate complex contractual terms into structured data.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling, Content Planning, Operations, and Localization teams.
  • Generate and maintain rights reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Support cross-regional teams in tracking rights across EMEA markets.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

Your New Role...

As a Rights Analyst – Data Management, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of rights data across EMEA. You will play a critical role in translating contractual terms into structured system data, enabling compliant content availability across HBO Max and HBO Europe.This role sits at the intersection of Content, Legal, and Operations and is key to enabling accurate rights usage across markets.This is a 12-month fixed term contract.If you are interested in working at the core of content rights management within an international streaming environment, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Own the accurate entry, validation, and maintenance of rights data within the rights management system, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements.
  • Interpret and translate complex legal rights into structured system data.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Partner with Scheduling, Content Planning, Operations, and Localization teams to ensure rights availability supports timely content delivery.
  • Generate and maintain rights reports and dashboards for stakeholders using query tools.
  • Support cross-regional teams in tracking and validating rights across EMEA markets.
  • Identify and proactively resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Qualifications & Experience...
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage complex datasets.
  • Previous experience with rights management systems preferred.
  • Previous experience with reporting/query tools; SQL preferred.
  • Previous experience working with structured data in high-volume environments.
  • Understanding of TV/SVOD rights and content distribution preferred, with the ability to interpret contractual/legal documentation into operational data.
