Basta, part of Urban Italian Group, is seeking a General Manager for the Västerås restaurant. You will lead daily operations, build a strong front-of-house and management team, and ensure guest experiences meet our high standards.

In this hands-on role, you will manage service flow, drive sales and profitability, and maintain health and safety compliance while inspiring and coaching your team to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality leadership and managing high-volume restaurant operations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop front-of-house and management teams.
• Strong guest focus with excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the opening and day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
• Build, train and develop a strong front-of-house and management team.
• Create a warm, energetic and consistent guest experience.
• Drive sales, profitability, labour control and operational standards.
• Work closely with kitchen and support teams to ensure smooth service.
