The Laboratory is a large test facility for high voltage products with a variety of non-routine electrical and mechanical test procedures. Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing, both in the development of new products, and in certification of the products for the global market. The clients to the Lab come from both Hitachi global organization and external Hitachi companies.Being a part of the Maintenance Team at the High-Power Laboratory is an important and interesting challenge and a key role to keep the Laboratory operation at the forefront.The team, that consists of approx. 5 persons, handles the maintenance support of the full Laboratory plant. The maintenance was insourced 1 Jan 2025 and is currently in a development stage with new system etc. Responsibilities also in new projects and installations, as well as decommissioning of old equipment.
