Job summary

Telia Finance AB, a licensed Credit Market Company and Telia Company subsidiary, seeks a collaborative Financial Controller to improve processes, drive efficiency, and deliver accurate financial records across the Nordic region.

You will lead monthly and annual closings, oversee tax and regulatory accounting, and support AR/AP functions while exploring finance development initiatives. Remote work opportunities are available where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, closing and reporting processes.
• Knowledge of tax/VAT and AR/AP reconciliation is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Agresso/Unit4) and finance improvements.
• Understanding of financial services or Nordic operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, account reconciliations, and the preparation of accurate financial records.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee tax, statutory, and regulatory accounting matters while ensuring compliance across Nordic entities.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient operations.
• Drive process improvements and finance development initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
