Job summary

Telia Play is seeking an Android Developer to join our team in Göteborg. You will build and maintain Telia Play for Android devices, with a strong focus on Android TV, delivering high-quality experiences to millions of users across the Nordics.

You will work with designers and backend developers, implement modern architectural patterns, and use Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Firebase, and GraphQL to ship reliable, scalable apps.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building scalable Android TV apps.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with GraphQL and adaptive streaming (DASH/HLS).
• Familiar with Git workflows and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Telia Play for Android, with a focus on Android TV.
• Design and optimize apps for performance, scalability, and smooth release flows.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers on architecture and coding standards.
• Build with Kotlin-based stack using Jetpack Compose, Firebase, and GraphQL.
• Deliver exceptional user experiences to millions of users.
