As a Senior Android Developer, you use the latest Android technologies to develop cutting-edge solutions and services for our customers. The purpose is to help them stay ahead and offer attractive and relevant services - now and in the future. Together with your team, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of an app - from requirements, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, to continuous improvements and new innovations.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose while ensuring a scalable and maintainable codebase
Taking ownership of the entire app lifecycle from initial concept and requirements through development, testing, deployment, release, and maintenance
Creating and maintaining tests (unit tests and UI tests) for your code to ensure robustness and reliability
Monitoring and optimizing application performance to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience
Fixing known bugs in existing Android applications and adding new features
Working with external & internal software libraries, SDKs, and APIs to incorporate additional functionalities into the app
Working with UX/UI designers to turn design templates into a polished user interface, and coordinating with back-end developers to integrate data and services via APIs
Providing technical guidance and suggesting different strategies to move projects forward, leveraging your broad understanding of mobile app development challenges
