Cisco Systems, Inc in Stockholm seeks a Software Engineer to deliver real-time media features in WxMedia & SRE organization. You will blend SRE practices with streaming architectures and AI tooling to monitor, diagnose, and auto-remediate global media services handling billions of minutes.

You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive operational excellence across global teams while shaping cross-team delivery of production-ready software and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in media streaming or real-time applications (RTP/RTCP, WebRTC, SIP).
• Experience with SRE practices: observability, incident management, RCA, SLIs/SLOs.

Responsabilités

• Deep-dive troubleshooting for WxMedia platform issues across hybrid cloud and bare-metal.
• Design and implement high-resilience systems for AI-assisted observability and self-healing infra.
• Develop AI agents, MCP tooling integrations, and automated remediation workflows.
• Implement ingestion and correlation pipelines for logs, metrics, traces to speed MTTD/MTTR.
• Define SLIs/SLOs with cross-team collaboration and post-incident reviews.
