Job summary

Basic Genomics AB is an early-stage molecular tools company focused on isoform-level RNA sequencing. We seek an experienced R&D Researcher to own projects from concept to validated protocols, collaborating with bioinformatics and product teams.

In this hands-on bench role, you will design and optimize library prep chemistries, run end-to-end experiments, and help translate methods into production with thorough documentation. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in molecular biology or related field.
• Hands-on NGS method development experience.
• Experience with single-cell RNA-seq workflows.
• Strong documentation and experimental tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimise and validate new library chemistries and protocols.
• Plan and run end-to-end experiments from RNA input to QC.
• Improve robustness and troubleshoot workflows.
• Transfer methods into kit/service production with SOPs and docs.
