Job summary

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and engineering simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of solid mechanics and structural behavior.
• Experience translating analyses into actionable design recommendations.
• Experience with scientific programming, data analysis, or scripting using Python, AI or similar tools.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply simulation and virtual engineering to evaluate, compare and optimize product concepts and designs.
• Support development projects with simulation-based analyses, insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with product developers, researchers, and technical specialists to solve engineering challenges and improve product performance.
• Interpret results and communicate conclusions to project teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• Develop and validate simulation methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
• Capture and share knowledge that strengthens simulation-driven product development across the organization.
