Job summary

Alfa Laval's Business Unit Brazed & Fusion-bonded Heat Exchangers in Lund is seeking a Software Developer in R&D Digitalization. You will build internal tools and data pipelines to support heat exchanger performance calculations and predictive insights, collaborating with R&D engineers in Sweden and Italy.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering with clean, maintainable code and tests.
• Strong C++, .NET, and SQL development experience.
• Experience with data modelling and relational databases.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy internal tools and infrastructure for heat exchanger performance.
• Design data models and pipelines to give R&D reliable data.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve workflows and tools.
• Own test frameworks and improve algorithms and applications.
• Coordinate with IT on hosting, security, and deployment.
• In your first year, convert performance calculations to tested, version-controlled software for R&D engineers in both locations.
