Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to support large-scale EPCM projects in Sweden. You will manage contract administration, cost estimation, and financial reporting to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.

Key duties include preparing tender documents, assisting the Contract Manager, reviewing invoices and cost reports, tracking cash flows, and conducting regular site visits to verify costs and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with large-scale EPCM projects.
• Proven experience working on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement methods, cost estimation, financial management, and contract law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to read data from DWG drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support contract administration, including tender documentation, contracts, budgets, and counterproposals.
• Assist the Contract Manager with administration of project contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting management of disputes, changes, or applications for payment.
• Work closely with cost control disciplines to review and prepare thorough cost estimates for the project, including materials, labour, and equipment.
• Monitor contract expenditures and ensure compliance with cost control procedures.
• Support review of invoices, including checking substantiation and supporting documentation such as progress claimed, timesheets, third party invoices, and completion certificates.
• Assist in preparation of detailed cost reports, including progress reports, cost forecasts, and final accounts.
• Provide input into tracking and reporting on contract cash flows and financial status.
• Identify potential financial or contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Undertake regular site visits to review progress claimed, conduct remeasurements, ensure adherence to contract terms, and validate costs.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
