Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre project in Skellefteå, Sweden. You will help commercial management, control costs, and maximise value across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction QS, with strong cost control, procurement and contract administration skills. Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction.
  • Experience supporting the commercial management of construction projects.
  • Cost control, procurement and contract administration.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Data centre, industrial or mission-critical project experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial and contractual management of the project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
  • Support procurement activities, including subcontractor tendering, evaluation and contract administration.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams on cost management.
  • Maintain accurate commercial and contractual documentation.
  • Attend commercial meetings, site meetings and project reviews.
  • Evaluate and process change orders and variations in line with contract requirements.
  • Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
  • Support the preparation of final accounts and financial reports.
  • Provide commercial advice and support to the wider project team.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
  • Identifying and helping resolve commercial and contractual issues.

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading European data centre delivery specialist who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing project team in Skellefteå, Sweden.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 3–5 years' experience to join a major data centre construction project, gaining exposure to large-scale, technically complex developments within one of Europe's fastest-growing construction sectors.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of the project, ensuring costs are controlled, value is maximised and financial objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities will include:

About You

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor with:
