Job summary

British American Tobacco Sweden has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Laboratory Coordinator in Malmö. The Quality Laboratory Coordinator leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the factory Quality Laboratory, ensuring accurate, reliable testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in compliance with BAT Quality standards, legal requirements, and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in Quality Control lab operations in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating workloads in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with OOS investigations, deviations, audits and regulatory inspections.
• Hands-on in method validation, equipment qualification, calibration, and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-8 laboratory professionals; ensure capability, engagement, and performance.
• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure timely testing and release of materials and products.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, integrity, and timely delivery of all test results.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Own laboratory systems, including SOPs, test methods, calibration, validation, and documentation control.
• Ensure data integrity and traceability of all laboratory activities and records.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, RCA, and CAPA actions.
• Support factory performance through QA data analysis, NCP coordination, and NPI activities.
• Comply with environmental, safety, and sustainability standards and procedures.
