Job summary

Paradox Interactive in Stockholm, Sweden, seeks a QA Analyst to ensure the functional quality of the Stellaris franchise. You will collaborate with QA and development teams to create and execute comprehensive test plans for high-quality game releases.

You will lead internal and outsourced QA testers, coordinate with leadership to assess risks, and maintain robust test plans and bug reports. Relocation is not provided and the role is full-time with a 6-month probation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience.
• Solid understanding of Grand Strategy Games.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in scripting, particularly for modding Paradox games.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback for game features and content discussions.
• Lead, track, and support internal and outsourced QA testers.
• Collaborate with Project Leadership, Producers, and QA leadership to assess risks and test coverage.
• Develop and maintain test plans and related testing documentation.
• Monitor and triage bug reports in the tracking system with clear steps.
• Report bugs with reproducible steps and ensure accurate reporting.
• Foster collaboration between QA and other departments for smooth project flow.
