Job summary

Chemelex is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical heat tracing and leak detection packages across the full project lifecycle, from handover through engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and closeout.

Based in Mölndal, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, maintain HSE standards, and act as primary customer contact. Swedish language skills are essential and English is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, project management or related discipline.
• Experience in data center construction, oil/gas, petrochemical or energy sectors.
• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.
• Languages: Swedish essential; good verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Project Manageris responsible forthe successful delivery of electrical heat tracing and leak detection packages within scope, schedule and budget. The role manages the full project lifecycle from project handover through engineering, procurement, installation,commissioningand closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from award to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activities.
• Act as primary customer contact throughout project execution.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, margins, variations and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Establish a strong relationship with the client and communicate with both technical and management-level personnel.
• Understanding and management of the project Contracts, T&Cs
• Identify project risks, gaps, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to mitigate the impact of the risks and take advantage of opportunities.
• Prepare project progress reports, payment applications, project plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, project management or related discipline
• Experience within data center construction, oil, & gas and petrochemical, or energy industries.
• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.
• Languages: Swedish language skills are essential, good verbal and written English skills
