Job summary

Air Liquide Nordics is seeking a Project Engineer CI&S to support the full lifecycle of customer installations, from offer to dismantling. You will ensure cost calculations, project prep, execution and handover, while managing scope, budget and timelines in line with AL standards and environmental practices.

You will work with cross-country Engineering and Maintenance teams to implement projects, perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, driving safety and environment

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor in engineering.
• Fluent in Swedish and English; Danish is a plus.
• Valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel.
• IT/OT tools include ACAD, Google Tools, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support sales during opportunity and business development phases.
• Define the scope during the business development phase.
• Prepare specifications and perform RFQs with Procurement as needed.
• Develop technical proposals with budgets and scheduling requirements.
• Lead project execution after budget approval and obtain permits.
• Oversee installation with internal staff or external contractors.
• Manage asset reservations and change orders; report progress to stakeholders.
• Provide startup, handover, and lessons learned feedback.

Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

To support the gas sales and operations of Air Liquide Nordics, the Project Engineer CI&S is responsible for supporting operations for the whole lifetime of a customer installation (from offer to dismantling) and the commercial teams during the business development phase. She/he ensures cost calculation, project preparation, execution and handover of all projects related to customer Installation, manages lead time, budget and scope, keeping in mind legal obligations, AL standards, quality and best practices.

She/he is responsible for the management of different types of projects (PG, Bulk & On Site and E&I if applicable) and will cooperate with the cross countries Engineering and Maintenance teams. The CI&S Project Engineer ensures the implementation of the environmental legislation, works in line with the ISO 14001 standard, respects the good environmental practices and shows a positive attitude with regard to the preservation of the environment.

Project scope definition

• The Project Engineer will support the sales representative in the opportunity / business development phase.
• Ensure that a clear scope has been defined during the business development phase.

Study & design

• Define the necessary services and the appropriate equipment including the Assets in collaboration with the Assets team
• Prepare specifications and perform RFQs together with Procurement, if applicable
• Develop technical proposals, including budgetary and scheduling requirements, to support the creation of commercial offers
• Ensure that a complete and clear design basis is established
• Perform risk assessments
• Obtain validation from Design Authority or use validated standard designs

Execution & installation

• Participate during the offer / contract / Design Basis review
• Lead project execution upon budget approval
• Obtain needed legal permits
• Acquire and obtain required parts and services
• Installations will be constructed using internal Air Liquide staff or external contractors
• Ensure timely project reviews and project reports to stakeholders (especially sales reps).
• Announce and manage change orders if any (deviations from initial scope).
• Manage reservation of assets (Vessels, Heaters, Mixers and other invested equipment)

Start up & handover

• Supervise and execute start-up and commissioning procedures, or assign these responsibilities to qualified personnel
• Complete technical files and hand them over to operations
• Initiate project closure
• Provide feedback on project's lessons learned together with all involved stakeholders
• Provide necessary information to maintenance teams for implementation maintenance plans on invested equipment
• Determine working budget for continuous maintenance purposes
• Communicate the completion of investment orders to accounting / investment control to allow proper and timely activation of installed assets

Support during lifetime of the installation

• Provide support during the lifetime of the customer installations (risk assessments, changes, compliance assessments, audits, ...)
• Manage tanks installation modifications exchanges and dismantlings
• Report anomalies

Are you a MATCH?

• Academic or professional Master /bachelor: Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanics, Chemical or equivalent), Mechanical or Electro Mechanical technical degree
• Location: Bromma
• Languages: Fluent in Swedish and English, Danish is nice to have
• Valid driving license
• IT/OT skills: ACAD, Google Tools, Telemetry applications, SAP
• Other skills:
  • Understand of procedures and regulatory for new and existing industrial installations
